GorgeRail is a gathering of railfans for photography, railfanning and fun!
GorgeRail features multimedia shows presented at the Columbia Gorge Discovery Center in The Dalles, Oregon.
We achieved our goal this year with many presentations on subjects outside of the Pacific Northwest! The call for presenters is essentially closed, although a few more presentations are possible. If you are interested in presenting, please contact Steve Dorsett and Paul Petersen to discuss your ideas.

Participate in the Audience Four Favorites
Select four of your favorite railroad-themed images, export them at full-resolution JPEG, and email them to gorgerail2012@gmail.com.
Also, a slide projector is available so you have the option of submitting film slides if you don't have digital scans of your chosen images. (Slides will be returned, of course!)
Registration, Tickets and Food
Registration and ticket purchasing is available by contacting gorgerail2012@gmail.com. Tickets are $20 each.
The Discovery Center will be offering the Sandwich Bar and all day Beverage service (Soda and Coffee) for $15.
Group Lodging/Hotel Arrangements
Cousins Country Inn in The Dalles is offering a rate of $95/night plus tax for standard rooms and $119/night plus tax for Deluxe Rooms. All rooms include refrigerator, microwave and coffee pot. There is a Restaurant and Saloon on the property and they offer Free Wireless Internet, Jacuzzi, Free Pass to an off-site Fitness and Court Club and Free DVD Rentals.
To make reservations, call Cousins Country Inn at 541-298-5161 and mention "GorgeRail group rate" when making your reservation. The rate is guaranteed available on reservations made by April 19, 2012. Reservations made after April 19 are subject to room availability and rates cannot be guaranteed.
